What do the two prices on every product mean?

The lower price assumes you hand over your old battery of the same Ah rating at delivery; the higher one assumes you keep it. The difference is the exchange value. See Old battery exchange.

What is pro rata warranty?

The second half of a warranty, where a failure earns you a discount on a replacement rather than a free one. See Warranty explained.

Is fitting included?

Yes, on every battery, along with a check of your charging system. See Delivery & fitting.

How do I know which battery fits my car?

Match Ah, CCA and terminal side. The step-by-step is in Find your battery, or send us the registration number and we'll do it.

Flat plate or tubular for my inverter?

Short occasional cuts: flat plate. Long or daily cuts: tubular. The full comparison is in Choosing an inverter battery.

Are these batteries new?

Yes — brand new, manufacturer warranty, with the month and year of manufacture printed on the case. Nothing refurbished or relabelled.

Do car batteries need servicing?

No. A sealed maintenance-free automotive battery is fitted and forgotten. Some inverter batteries need distilled water topped up every few months — the product page says which.

Can I pay on delivery?
